TANK CLEANING: FUEL FILTERING - POLISHING

Cliff Berry, Inc. now offers Fuel Micro-Filtration / Polishing for contaminated diesel, gasoline or jet fuel from underground and/or above ground fuel storage tanks.
Our unique, muiti-stage system is designed and engineered
to remove water, algae, rust, scale and sludge deposits from tank-bottoms.
By using specially designed discharge and vacuum tubes we are
able to capture all of the contaminants from the tank. Once captured,
these contaminants are easily removed and trapped in our multi-stage
filtering system. The fuel is then returned back to your tank,
completely cleaned and safe for distribution.
Q: What are some of the
benefits of having my tank cleaned and my fuel filtered &
polished?
A: There are several benefits;
Increased pump efficiency
Increased (faster) service to your customer
Less down time due to maintenance (Fewer filter changeouts)
Less possibility of a State Warning Notice due to cloudy fuel
or dirt in tank
Q: How do I know if I have a problem?
A: Typically, every time
a load is delivered to your location it mixes with the fuel,
water and bottom
sediments in your tank. Those materials become suspended and
can eventually get into your
filters. When this happens it means that your customer takes
longer to fill their tank and
eventually the trapped solids will shut your pump down completely.
Q: Won't I lose money on fuel sales
while you're doing the cleaning?
A: One of the biggest advantages
of our service is that it's all done while you're tanks are
in full
operation! We always recommend that you change you filters after
we've finished to insure
that your pumps are operating at maximum efficiency.
Q: What about all of the materials you
pull from the tank?
A: All of the PCW (Petroleum
Contact Water) is treated for fuel recovery, cleaned and discharged
as
a non-hazardous industrial liquid into the POTW (Publicly Owned
Treatment Works). All of the
sludge that is trapped in the filters is tested to determine
whether it meets hazardous or non-
hazardous criteria and then sent to an incinerator. We never
drum anything and leave it onsite to
be handled at a later date. You can feel safe, knowing that
all Federal, State and local regulations are
strictly adhered to.
Q: What size and type of tanks can you clean?
A: We can clean any size
tank from 500 gallon to 40,000 gallon. We can also clean any
type of tank
from an above ground tank to a below ground tank. There are
some tanks that may not be suited
for this type of cleaning. If that is the case we can recommend
other methods that may be best
suited for your type of system.
Q: If I need more information on your
petroleum services how can I reach you?
A: We can be reached 24
hours a day on our toll free line @ 1-800-899-7745. We can immediately
send someone to your location to sample your tank and offer
our best recommendations. We can also e-mail digital photographs
of the samples along with our recommendations.

We guarantee that your fuel will then meet or exceed ASTM (American Society of Testing Materials) bottom sediment and water guidelines.

"The Difference is Clear" We take your dirty product, filled with sludge, water, or algae and return to you a clean, safe fuel that you may proudly offer to your customers. Upon completion, all waste material is removed from your site and handled at our "State-of-the-Art"processing facility.
