WASTE DISPOSAL MANAGEMENT.

Our disposal services division collects, processes and disposes of Used Oils, petroleum contact water, oily filters and oily sorbents/rags at our Miami facility. Our facilities' 1.3 million gallon storage capacity and rail road access enables CBI to efficiently perform bulk inter-model transfers for trucks, rail cars and ISO containers. This state of the art facility is fully permitted by the State of Florida and Dade County.

WASTEWATER REMOVAL AND PROCESSING


CBI's state-of-the-art PreTreatment Facility enjoys a reputation for excellence among the industry and regulatory agencies. Utilizing a disolved air flotation process, our facility has a capacity of 6.3 million gallons a month. We are certified to treat all 3 EPA industrial waste streams:
  • oily water
  • metal contaminated water
  • organic contaminated water.


Did you know...

Millions of gallons of oil are thrown in the trash, often ending up in landfills, from which the oil can contaminate our ground and surface water.

Just one gallon of oil can pollute one million gallons of fresh water.

Oil filters are a source of scrap metal and Used Oil. An undrained filter can contain up to one pint of used oil. Filters are 80 to 85% steel.

Virtually all oil containers are plastic. These are an excellent supply of recyclable material.

INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER REMOVAL AND PROCESSING

Clean, pure water thats the primary goal of any effective wastewater management program. A comprehensive waste management plan will help protect you against liability and excessive costs.  CBI works with you to develop a comprehensive plan for treating and disposing of your companies waste. First CBI conducts a waste survey and audit. After on-site sampling and analysis, we recommend a disposal plan that addresses your specific, immediate and long term needs.  CBI's pre-treatment facility in Miami, is authorized to process waste streams with oils, metallics and/or organic materials. Our wastewater treatment facility annually processes millions of gallons of petroleum contact water and industrial waste waters for pre-treatment prior to final disposal through  the publicly owned treatment works; POTW.  CBI has a fleet of licensed vehicles to transport waste streams from point of origin to our Miami facility for processing. CBI provides you with a safe, efficient and economical transportation and/or disposal of your non-hazardous waste waters.




LAB PACK

CBI has extensive experience in handling lab packs and can provide trained qualified personnel to collect, segregate, package and label waste materials at  your facility.  Our lab pack program is geared towards economically identifying, packing and disposing of your facility's waste chemicals or individual quantities of various toxic materials.  Despite their typically small volume, these substances do require segregation and special packaging.  We will provide you with prompt and accurate quotations from basic information (inventory list) that you provide us.  Our qualified personnel will pack these materials in compliance with EPA and DOT regulations.
